Then & now
This Peruvian Hairless Dog database, in short PHD, was first published february 2007 as the Peruvian Health Database. Our dream however was to have a real database, pictured pedigrees included so it grew into what it is today.
Our main goal is to create a clear insight in our population and to facilitate breeders and owners in finding the best matching breeding dogs. Together with breeders and owners of this wonderful breed we'll do our upmost best to become a reliable place for information.

Add/manage your dog
For adding and updating dogs you'll need to create your own account but that is about how far we'll go. This database is for the PHD community and we hope you will make it a wonderful and honest tool together with all breeders and fanciers out there. Team PHD will be monitoring behind the scenes and is available for assistence and answers to any question you have regarding PHD. [ How to use PHD ].


Health results
It is possible to have test results listed on PHD, which will be projected at the dogs own page and in the pedigrees. This way it should be easier to track health problems in the breed, a powerful tool for breeders, for now and for in the future.
Testresults can only be published when sent in by either the owner or the breeder of the dog.

All dogs that are listed as being health tested will be recognized by this sign. [ health section ].
